A Closer Look
We are a body of believers committed to worshipping and serving our Living Lord. Our local body is part of the universal body of Christ and we join with like minded believers in spreading the Good News of the Gospel around the world. We believe that God is holy and sovereign; that His Son Jesus died for the sin of all mankind; that our salvation is a gift of grace; and that belief and faith in Jesus is the only path to eternal security. We uphold the Bible as inspired by God and that it was given to us that we might know the revelation of God and be led by the precepts set forth in the Word.
Jesus reached out to people of all ages and backgrounds and we desire to join Him in opening our arms to all who may enter His church. We believe that the local church should be the place of assembly for believers and that all the components of the local church should strive to glorify God and build up the body. We gather together to share our individual worship lives in the corporate setting. We believe the local church should be a place for everyone to study the Scriptures, fellowship together, minister to others through numerous service opportunities and misssions, and grow ever closer to our Lord.
Aaron Baptist Church cooperates with other churches through the Avery Baptist Association, Baptist State Convention of North Carolina, and the Southern Baptist Convention.
